In his very inspiring speech, Dr Vivek Gupta said, “15 August is the most important day for all of us as India gained its hard-fought independence on this day. On this holy day, we gained freedom from the years- old chains of slavery.” He also urged students to follow the path of honesty and truth and take every possible step which is needed to develop India and make it a better place.

To commemorate this day Q-mates arranged cultural programs, competitions and other events which reminded and celebrated the arduous struggle many had to go through to enjoy the Independence we have today. Through their magnificent performances, Q-mates made the audience emotional and developed in them a deep sense of value for the freedom we enjoy today.
